This is a new combination that I"ve just produced in my aviary as of August of 2006. I have 2 Green Pied Opalines so far. One is much brighter and lighter in color, and the other is a little bit darker leading me to think it may have a dark factor and possibly a violet factor. They are both very, very cute.
Picture added as of 9/18/06. This is a Green Pied Opaline. Look how bright and neonish the coloring of the bird is. Also you can see it has white flights. It still hasn't fully feathered out yet.

Here is a Medium Green Pied Violet? Opaline. He's a little bit darker in coloring than the above pied.
