Here are some pictures of green opalines and normal greens for comparison. The whole head or hood of the green opaline baby will become green as it matures.
[Metamorphosis] This is a Medium Green Opaline Baby. You can see the red on the top of the forehead as well as the red on the rump, and the color of the rump is the color of the body vs it being blue. He filled out very well after he matured and just had his first clutch of babies. He also placed for the 1st time a the Wisconsin Cage Bird Club Show in 2006.
